cabal468 I've been a fan of KoD for years and I recently "Discovered" Oscar's Drum. A Cathedral Of Hands is a truly inspired album, it's been on heavy rotation since I first heard it. Favorite track: Infernal.
E-Coil
E-Coil thumbnail
E-Coil This is by far the best track on the album!!! They somehow managed to merge both Dark and Beautiful emotions in the same song, while keeping it simple. Simply Brilliant, well done men!!! Favorite track: Floating.

rmartv Certainly, it is difficult to me to choose one, but if I had to pick out one, I would choose this one, though I usually listen to the whole release, enjoying tracks such a The last time I saw Roger, In water or Floating. It is a really good release to me. Good tone of voice, I love it. Proud to be fan. Yes. Favorite track: Blackouts.

Green-veiled Mirror Ghost See the fine foods and swimming pools At her Californian domain Taste the chlorine Her teeth and tongue have touched Savour the space A perfect warm day To swim alone Under these fringed LA trees A knock on the door Which her servant will get Stands a smile just like her own A green-veiled mirror ghost That mistake from long ago It's hard to breathe these thick Gasoline waves At her Californian domain Where's the soft green Of her dollar machine? That planted this house and lakes I see the fine food and swimming pools Savour the taste Swallow down This bitterness Soften me LA trees A green-veiled mirror ghost Staring back right through me There are no regrets No back steps There's only the fog ahead The welcoming fog ahead

Infernal 03:19
Infernal Can't stop watching the accident, Over and over online Watch the tower collapsing, The awful dust of lives They bring out the caged animals, Lipstick tracing smiles I'm stuck in a Liberace nightmare from 1975 And I can't stop watching the idiot's Undressed drunken chants Stick his head in the corpse of a hive, Till he's stung by infernal knives Not a living thing can breathe Hold your breath don't breathe Lost in the obvious forest, Of middle year panicked nights Climbing down the circles of hell, Till the judgement matches the crime Down and down we go, down the Devil's thighs I can't stop watching the accident The bit where he loses his eyes Not a living thing can breathe The dust obscures the action, we wait for it to lift It swirls around uncertainly Not a living breathing thing Hold your breathe don't breathe

Quartz 03:48
Quartz I brought two quartz But the water did not bubble I sip ice drips But my mind still troubles I'm deaf megahurtz Cure me, cure this madness, Cure me I'm a mannequin Just a hollow dummy Who’s half asleep I can only function outside this grief I baulk, deep well Winter swim still spluttering Unmarked, unfed Is that you still coughing and coughing Cure me, cure this madness, Cure me I'm a mannequin Just a hollow dummy Who cannot swim I can only function within this grief You want to know, you want to be sure If you take a sip, then you’ll find the cure I want to know, I want to be sure If I take a sip, I will find a cure Outside there’s griefs that I can’t stand What the fuckers have done To our beautiful land What the cunts have done To our beautiful land What the cunts have done To our beautiful minds To our beautiful minds To our beautiful
4.
In Water 03:20
In Water I think of you in water And coming out of water Hair slicked black Wet, I gasp I think of you in wartime And coming out of war Your hands in knots Red and can't grasp The well is deep Let's bathe in it The well is deep It'll hold us up I think of you in wonder And when the wonders explode Stripped of mystery What are we without eyeliner And silvered endings of hope? The well is deep Let's bathe in it The well is deep It'll hold us up Let's swim in the water Savour the wonder

Blackouts 04:00
Blackouts Look at her dance in black And gold and purple Kaleidoscope wild She shades her eyes at midnight Scatters the floor before The searching eye can find us She break me, I fracture I worship, her laughter She turns off completely No place to dance in her sadness house Colours her world in blood And sperm and spittle Burst your balloon just to See the fireworks sparkle Triple her tickle Until you turn to marble She break me, I fracture She glue me, I'm captured She bite me, I'm poisoned Nowhere to dance in her madness house Look at her dance in purple See her charm a snake Right out its basket Kaleidoscope wild She shakes her eys at midnight There's no space to dance Lost in a trance In her sadhouse There's no space to dance Lost in a trance In these blackouts

Last Time I Saw Roger Jesus Christ I'm sorry, I didn't see you there Glare at me hard like the years hadn't passed I guess that we could talk, sort this trouble out But there's you with your screw loose And me with my sobs Hanging there so cold From a rod that simply broke How could you think That your friends here would not choke? The mess that we created A bitter voyage to harm You with your habits And me with my drums Where's that desert isle, Pacific free and wild Palm trees to shade From the horrors that we made? We'd end up eating each other Like Ralph and Piggy and Roger We'd let out the fire There's no one here in charge The mess that we created A bitter voyage to harm You with your habits And me with my drama Jesus Christ I'm sorry, I didn't see you there Glare at me hard like the years hadn't passed Hadn't passed

Arms of the Dark We dissolve in the arms of the dark That surround us Codeine sleepiness follow us Hills alive with the hum of pylons Time to fly outside and dare the Dreams we lit last night The night is a cloth of stars A blanket for the curious A pillow of amnesia A whiskey glass of lead Please turn off the kitchen light There’s a full moon and satellites Gas clouds and pale moth wings A life outside the sun We’re not scared of the heart of the dark That surrounds us, drugged sunk Dinosaurs and paramours Don’t let’s sleep till this glow is fully gone On the ink black flight from Our beds out to the moon Don't let go of my shirt I may fall to the ground I won't let go of your shirt You won't fall, you won't fall Please turn off the kitchen light There’s a full moon and satellites Gas clouds and pale moth wings A life outside the sun

Porcelain (The Last Queen of Vietnam) Why don't they turn these crowds away? I'm not in a vitrine on display Not an ivory curiosity Bring me my morning baguette Bring me mulberries I can weave this silk myself My thumb is hard I'm not made of ivory, not a curiosity They think me feeble For I was born a Queen They think me useless Corseted [Ornamental] charlatan Idiots I'm iron in every tendon and crossbeam A perfect scheme Not mere porcelain My fist is pulsing now Your flesh it's desiring Remove the veil You'll not find me quivering There's no modesty In my ferocity Where is my way out? My way out of here?

Shadowlight 03:30
Shadowlight Shadowlight On display Hiding handfuls Of treasured grey Shadowgraph On the screen A simple outline A darkening In this gown I am cold The floor is sticky I'm feeling old When are the people coming? What in the hell is coming? When are the people coming? What in the hell is drumming? Is my hope displaced? Ready to escape? A sense of ending, a sense of fear I put on my opera cloak My fateful cheer An explanation, a set of rules Requiring attention But my head's left the room I hear their words Their kind solution But it's a starting gun saying Run run run
10.
Floating 05:07
Floating I'm not going to be sad Not taken for a ride In the long black car In their television nightmare I'm not going to be sad, I'm taking a ride On a silvery ship to the starblack night The bow and arrow geese fly To the lakes they fly, and I'll follow I'm not going to bed Too much damn thinking Watch the candle splutter out Its sunshine to the dead I'm done if I stay, my heart is freezing I need the sway of a terrifying ocean The bow and arrow geese fly To the lakes they fly, and I'll follow The bow and arrow geese fly To the sea they fly in the snow See the lighthouse beam, I want to sail there Push me out to sea, come adventure with me We’re going to sail on a silvery ship We're going to sail where the sun never sets Out to the Arctic where the ice breaks flow
